garlic breadcrumbed beans

I’m not keen on vegetables but mum makes me eat them. We had some beans growing in the garden but they got mildew on them so we pulled them out. These beans come from a supermarket. They’re OK because they’ve got lots of garlic and breadcrumbs on them. I cooked them and mum helped hold the saucepan and frypan.

This is how you prepare them

  • Steam some long skinny green beans but make sure they’re still crunchy
  • Heat about 1 tblspn olive oil in a pan and add a couple of chopped up garlic cloves
  • Drain the beans and put them in the pan with the garlic and olive oil
  • Toss some breadcrumbs in and stir them around a bit.

They’re cooked now!
